Stunning Russian model slammed for death-defying photoshoot on one of the world's tallest skyscrapers

A gorgeous glamour model has been criticised after posing for a death-defying photoshoot on a narrow ledge near the top of one of the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Victoria Odintsova, 23, leaned out into thin air - held only by the hand of a male assistant - from the 306-metre (1,004-foot) tall Cayan Tower in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The Russian first lent backwards over the huge drop and then climbed slowly down on to the ledge before dangling free in the air from the arm of her helper.

Ms Odintsova - who has more than three million followers on social media and was branded the best thing to come out of Russia since vodka by Maxim magazine - admitted that she was a bit nervous.

"I still cannot believe that I did it. Every time I watch this video, my palms get sweaty," said the St Petersburg-based beauty.
She posted the video on her social media page where it quickly went viral, prompting many of her fans to criticise her for performing the stunt without any safety equipment.
They pointed out that she would not have had a chance of surviving if anything had gone wrong.
